Conveyancing Process
What Do I Need To Do?
When selling a property there are normally a few important points to keep in mind. By doing so you could save yourself a lot of unnecessary stress and possible expenses at a later stage.
Look out for the following when selling your property:
- Selling Price: Have a look at available property for sale in your area to assist you in determining your selling price;
- Marketing Costs: List your property in the most cost effective manner, preferably FREE with adequate exposure;
- Notices: Remember to contact your mortgage provider to prevent the possibility of incurring penalty interest later;
- Legal Documentation: Ensure that the Deed of Sale is drafted by an Attorney or Conveyancer;
- Certificates: Don’t forget about your Certificate of Compliance (Electrical Certificate);
- Finance: Assist the buyer, where possible, in obtaining finance as quickly as possible;
- Legal Advice: Discuss any concerns you might have with an Attorney or Conveyancer.
